I read somewhere that after a miscarriage or abortion, the hcg remains in your blood for 6-8 weeks, so I'd wait before taking another one, or have your doc do a blood test. I had a ectopic pregnancy at the end of Febuary. The doctor should had let you know if your hcg were going downn or still high. I was told to wait at least one period before I try to get pregnant again. If you did wait at least one period you might be pregnant. To be sure I would go get a blood test. It is correct that it may take 6 weeks for HCG to fall back after an ectopic, but you cannot tell if you are pregnant from one level, you need a second check to see if levels are falling. Alternatively, As you had an ectopic pregnancy, it is of course possible that you had an intrauterine pregnancy as well.
Your doctor will be able to tell if the baby is implanted in the correct place. The risk of ectopic pregnancy is 12.5% for women who have had a tubal ligation--but chances of pregnancy are much less to begin with.
Certainly! An ectopic pregnancy is not a condition that affects your reproductive organs such as endometriosis. You have a 1 in 2 chance of conception if you had no problems prior to your ectopic pregnancy. About 60% conceive successfully after an ectopic pregnancy and about 30% choose not to try conceiving again. If you do conceive successfully after having an ectopic pregnancy, it is important to notify your doctor at the first visit of this so that he/she can pay special attention to any warning signs and help you and your baby have a successful future pregnancy.
My levels went down and now went back up. My doc said it is definitly not a normal pregnancy. So I really don't no right now what is going on. I've heard it could be possibly a ectopic or molar but I'm not sure. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. Good luck to you, I wish you lots of luck!!!
The pipe will rupture if you don't reduce the pressure. That rupture is just going to get bigger and bigger.
When women have an ectopic pregnancy, they may not know that they are pregnant at the time. Usually, signs of an ectopic pregnancy would include pelvic or abdominal pain, vaginal spotting or if the fallopian tube ruptures, there may be signs of shock.
Due to pregnancy hormones your digestive sytem is really upset. It feels like little bubbles going off in your stomach. I was about 12 weeks when I felt the real movements of the baby. I was also told I may have an ectopic he turned out ok and is now two years old. I hope you get the same result :-)
It just means that your pregnancy is going great. They say that your levels should triple the first weeks of pregnancy.
Ive had 2 Ectopic pregnancies. First time i was 6 weeks long and i got my period as normal though it continued on for the whole time i was pregnant. My second Ectopic pregnany i was 8 weeks along and got my period normally. So yes you can get your period with an ectopic pregnancy
please go to hospital asap its not sound good plz go to hospital asap
no, as long as it is increasing in numbers, you should be fine... According to the American Pregnancy Association, hCG levels taper off after 10-11 weeks of pregnancy.
Absolutely! If your tube was damaged during the tubal pregnancy you may experience some trouble conceiving, however carrying a pregnancy to term after an ectopic pregnancy should not be a problem. Not every tubal pregnancy will irreconcilably damage a fallopian tube. If one of your fallopian tube has been severed due to a tubal pregnancy then you still have another one to rely on. If you have had two irreconcilably damaged fallopian tubes then you are going to need surgical help in getting a viable egg to your womb.
