Yes. Credit card companies can close out the account if you are not using it, some may just add fees. It depends on your terms and conditions of the card member agreement.
Using your card every few months, even if it’s for something small and paying off in full will prevent from closure. It’s almost like a “Use it or Lose it” deal. If you are not using the credit, but holding it from someone else that would actually put it to use - they could decrease the limit or close it all together. Their choice really.

If you can't find where it says to close your YouTube account, I suppose you can either give up and keep on enjoying YouTube or do some research to find where to close your account.
