Yes. Credit card companies can close out the account if you are not using it, some may just add fees. It depends on your terms and conditions of the card member agreement.
Using your card every few months, even if it’s for something small and paying off in full will prevent from closure. It’s almost like a “Use it or Lose it” deal.
