Yes, in its original context a zombie is a dead person brought back to life. In the voodoo religion a voodoo priest can concoct a potion that contains the toxin of the puffer fish. This toxin renders a victim paralyzed - perfectly conscious but unable to move. The simple folk of Haiti and the Caribbean area could be fooled into thinking that such a person was dead, and then (when the poison wears off), comes back to life.
Originally it was intended that such a phenomena was to be on par with Elijah raising the widows son or Christ raising Lazarus from the dead. Such a feat was intended to bring a similar sort of status to the voodoo priest. With this in mind it is easy to see why some 'revival ceremonies' of voodoo priests took three days to accomplish: overdosing of a victim or just one that wanted to exploit the opportunity to sleep.
Unfortunately for the voodoo community the phenomena has taken on quite a different connotation, probably as a result of negative publicity by Christian missionaries and of course Hollywood sensationalism.
Minecraft was not made by zombies. It was made by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson.
Because black ops is made by treyarch and they made world at war zombies
Zombies were never real, they are made up for stories.
You cannot find Zombies anywhere, they are just made up creatures.
