the airbags in the lungs are for transferring oxygen into the capilliaries
peritubular capilliaries
Capillaries do not have valves. Veins are the blood vessels with valves.
No arteries do, these then lead into arterioles and into capilliaries.
There are many capillaries in the lungs. These small blood vessels are the site of gas exchange in the alveoli.
Oxegen and Carbon dioxide
There are two place where this process occurs: i) the Lungs, and ii) the Capilliaries.
The small veins and capillaries feed blood, oxygen and nutrients to peripheral limbs, fingers, toes and to the organs and skin. They help us to feel and to send signals to the muscles to pull and retract.
cleaning a wound - under medical/surgical asepsis techniques with sanitization, disinfection, and/or sterilization. If open wound, it would then have to be debrideded so that new blood capilliaries are reach and new tissue would be allowed to form.
Carry oxyginated blood to the body, and deoxiginated blood back to the lungs to get oxygen.
