One possible scenario is..
The thermostat is stuck open or been removed. Engines under significant load are using more gas and thereby producing more excess heat.
Examine the vehicle for sufficient coolant and verify that the coolant can flow thru the engine, hoses, radiator and heater hoses. Check the fan belt for proper tension. Be suspect of any leaks...
Only when accelerating, I would suspect a broken motor mount or bad CV joint.
Possibly a loose heat shield or other component.
noise and jolting is present whilst car is idolling and accelerating
Frame of reference is the measurement or observation that tells you that a car is accelerating. It uses the second law of motion to tell you rather or not the car is accelerating.

your car might be weak on accelerating because it isn't firing on all cylinders.
The heater in your car uses waste heat from the engine to heat the car. When the engine is not running there is no heat to distribute.
A car accelerates from to at a rate of How far does it travel while accelerating
braking
The heat will also work when the car is turned on, but not moving. It uses heat from the engine.
My car is accelerating at 10 miles per hour per hour.
You know that a car is accelerating because you will be pulled in a direction opposite the force that is accelerating the car. This is Newton's Third Law: "For every force, there is an equal and opposite force".
