If the vehicle actually ran out of fuel, the fuel lines could be dry and need priming (common for carburated vehicles with mechanical/vacuum fuel pumps)This is not usually a problem with electric fuel pumps, but some electric fuel pumps may become damaged by running dry or shut themselves down to prevent damage. Running low on fuel sometimes allows water, dirt or debris in the fuel tank to plug either the fuel line or the fuel filter. Often, one of the cheapest and easiest solutions is to replace the fuel filter. Even if it isn't the problem, it won't harm your engine, and may benefit it later.
Don’t no
dead battery?
Sure it still has gas?
my car has no power when driving. plus its hard to start. after i ran it low on fuel
You probably destroyed the fuel pump, which happens a lot when you run a fuel-injected car out of gas.
i have a Renault medan td i ran out of diesel and the battry was low now the car wont start only when its being bumped
put a little gas in the carbureator
water in the gas.
thanks for wasting peoples time who ever wrote the last answer gas in plugs changed
Because the engine may need to be flushed because trash has gotten into the tail pipe.
There is probably something faulty with your fuel pump if it originally started but now isn't getting gas. OR you could be just out of gas.
Hi I have replaced the gas tank on my 1997 gmc sevana and now I can not start the car, I was wondering if I could get the gas line diagram. thanks
