open the boot, unclip the boot covering near whichever bulb you need to replace.
Here you'll see a black box where the bulbs are situated. Look towards the top middle of the box and you will see a small flat bit poking out. press this down towards the floor fairly firmly and it will click into place. then you can pull the bulb housing unit out of place and remove the bulb you need to change.
Take the bulb with you to the car spares shop and compare it to the ones you are looking at to get the right bulb.
You can find a diagram regarding the installation of a replacement ball, on your Range Rover 400, at most Range Rover dealerships. Most auto-parts stores will have the diagram.
There are two. Just remove the two phillip screws on the side that is blown and change the bulb.
Hi I really would like to know this myself. I can't work out if the bumper has to come off or the skirt. If you can just remove the glass it is possible I could get away with that. If not how do you change the indicator bulb?

The Hydraulic clutch fitted to the rover 400 is a sealed unit and the only thing that you can do is to replace the complete unit
it is located in the boot of the car, to gain access you have to remove the rear and front bumper and is located on the inside of the boot.
A Rover 400 can be purchased as a second hand vehicle from dealerships or online classifieds as it is no longer in production. They were originally sold in the UK and would be more commonly found there or in Australia under the name Rover 416i.
