Yes, you have to loosen engine mount
It's located on the block, just above the water pump
The thermostat on a 1992 LeSabre should be inside of the top radiator hose inlet. You can easily change it by removing the top hose and water inlet.
just changed it today, located right side of engine, under to the right of the engine cover , has wires coming off it looking like a bolt,, water will come out when you loosen the bolt.
vehicle does not have a water filter
210 to 220f
if it's not raining, the heater core is leaking
under the water pump.
Drain the radiator. Remove the LeSabre's top radiator hose. Unbolt the engine water inlet and remove to reach the thermostat. Pull the thermostat out and slide in the new one. Reinstall the inlet and hose before filling the system with new coolant.
Faulty sending unit or shorted wire Worn engine bearings Sludged or defective oil pump Gasoline or water in oil

I have water leaking into a 1997 Buick LeSabre problem. I cannot find where it comes into the car. It pools in the rear passenger seat driver's side floor. It can happen even while the car is parked.
it should be behind the water pump pulley on the lower left side when looking at it from the side of the car.
Yes. And the 8th digit in VIN will also be the same.
Drain the radiator and dispose of the coolant as it is toxic to animals. Remove the top radiator hose. Remove the water inlet. Pull the thermostat from under the inlet, and replace. Reverse the procedure to finish the instillation.
My 90 lesabre did the same thing. When it cut off after driving I sprayed water on the crank sensor and it started right back up. A buick mechanic told me to do this and this is how I found out the crank sensor was bad!
unless your comfortable jacking up the engine, take it to a shop. call around for best price. Dealer wants about $350 for it all. while your waiting for the shop to fix it, buy a new serpentine belt and have them replace it also
