Generally, Aboriginal people didn't have rights and freedom, until WWII Aboriginal people then where allowed to vote, be part of the Census and be an Citizen.

Aboriginal people are Australians and have the same rights as white Australians, they shouldn't be discriminated against for whatever reason whether it is a good discrimination or ill.
