Toyota engine code 402
My rpm light came on but not my check engine light so what does that mean when the rpm light is on
get your engin checked get your engin checked battery disconect for 3 min or take to auto parts and they can do it
The check engine light has to be reset with a OBD scan tool
same problem.
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
Evap Emmissions system has small leak PO442
The easy fix to reset the "check engine" light on the Jetta is to completely unhook the battery for at least 10 minutes. This may possibly be only a temporary fix though if the original problem that caused the light to come on still exists.
There is no reset button for the check engine light. You can have Mitz. do it for $$$ or you can remove the negative battery line for a few seconds and replace. That will reset the check engin light.
Possibly. The check engin light (aka idiot light) is a 'catchall' indicator that something is wrong in the engine compartment, especially since the tranny is hooked up to the engine.
Have vehicle scanned and codes cleared - usually a problem in the emission control system
The check engine light comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, a check engine light is lit when there is a problem in the emissions or somthing that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions.
