I've never heard of an OBDII code that would tell you to change a PCV valve. What code is it?
The only sensors that I am aware of on the throttle body is the throttle position sensor.
Every sensor on the engine and transmission can cause the light to come on.
Then you may want to have a mechanic check it out.
yes, they are the same engine. however the neons changed the electrical connectors in 1997 so if your breeze is 97 or up then try to get a neon motor from 97 or up. if you cant, then you will have to change all the sensors.
first up i would replace air filter and fuel filter then get engine tune up if nothing has been changed on vehicle, you should not have to change sensors
The air filter is in the air box on top of the engine. Disconnect the air intake from the fender, then the wiring to the sensors. The box can now be removed and the filter changed.
Your engine block is the main part of your engine that holds the crankshaft and pistons internally. Your knock sensors, there are two, are screwed into the top of the engine block in the valley between the cylinder heads. You don't have to remove the engine block, you do have to remove the upper and lower intake manifolds to get to them. I changed the sensors in my 99 rx300, long day!
Don't know what your original reading was, but the O2 sensors before the cats moniter how the engine is running and the O2 sensors after the cats moniter how the cats are performing.
Change the downstream o2 sensors. Does the engine run ok? Does it seem to lean? It could also be the upstream sensors so beware.Look for vacuum leaks. Also review the "Related Questions" below
no just the precat as the latter does not really change or affect how the engine runs
Sensors needed to be changed out from 95 ciera model three one L V6 engine to match back the original 95 supereme three L6 engine are Ciera Knock Sensor and Soeedometer Sensor.
