1.Check the fuse for the running lamps, brake lamps. 2.Using a test light check for (+) voltage at the rear lamp running lamp socket. 3. Have a friend press the brake pedal to check for (+) at the brake lamp socket. 4. Clamp the test lamp claw to a (+) 12volt source, use the test light to check the (-) ground at each socket. The lamp needs 12 volts to illuminate. If the lamp socket is missing either the (-) or (+) current it will not light up. If there is no (+), check fuses. If the fuses are OK check the exterior Lamp Switch(Headlight Switch) You will need an OHM meter and some basic troubleshooting skills or remove the switch and take it to a garage. If the Switch is OK check the Headlamp Circuit relays. If there is no (-) at the socket you have a corroded or broken ground wire. Do a visual inspection of the ground wires and try to follow them to the body connection. If all else fails run new ground wires.
