Avoid soft, mould ripened, blue or unpasturised cheeses. Cheddars, parmesans etc are best because of the acidity which kills off potential harmful bacteria.

It is not recommended that pregnant women eat Roquefort cheese. It is a blue moldy cheese and mold has toxins that are not good for the baby. Also it is a raw milk cheese with a fresh rind so there is a lot of bacteria, such as listeria that may be present as well. Listeriosis can cause miscarriage and early delivery. I love blue cheese but its not a good idea to eat while pregnant.
I would think so unless there is a bacteria in the cheese.
MOUSE TRAP
The only reason cream cheese should be avoided while pregnant is if you've been advised to reduce your fat intake.

It is not a good idea to give hamsters any type of cheese unless the hamster is a female and is pregnant/post pregnant. This is acceptable at this time because the pregnant/post pregnant hamster needs protein or this can turn into one of the various reasons why she may eat her young.
