Chevy Tahoe 2000 5.7 engine i have instilled a procharger supercharge the problem is that when you accelerate the check engine starting to plink and when you slow down its stop blinking?
you need to be running premium. i would guess that you are not. your motor is experiencing severe knock caused by the boost. this causes the pcm to freak out cuz your motor is going to blow if you keep doing this.
Just to the shop for diagnosing and repair ( try not to accelerate briskly ) A blinking check engine light means that a misfire has been detected The vehicle will need to be scanned for any trouble codes to diagnose and then repair the problem . If you were to continue driving and just ignore the blinking check engine light you can cause damage to the catalytic converter which would cost you a lot more…
If your check engine light is blinking with the engine running , an ignition misfire has been detected . Take it in and have it scanned for trouble code(s) in order to diagnose and repair the problem . Try not to accelerate quickly while taking it in for repair as this could damage the catalytic converter(s)
