governor pressure too high. someone may have installed a shift kit and adjusted the line pressure too high or modified the valve body. computer is seeing governor pressure too high for an extended period of time and sets code 1763. Lower line pressure between 90-95 lbs. Road test with gauge connected and watch pressures while driving. connect to accumulator tap. good luck!

P1763 is the code for a governer pressure sensor. This is a problem related to the transmission... ive heard people say it comes on when it gets wet. Maybe try resetting it after its dry...if not... have your tranny serviced... new fluid, filter, sensor.
