The Continental Cadet trumpets can not be aged based on their serial numbers. Based on the company's manufacturing periods, however, it is likely from the 1930s.
Some older models of S&W revolvers you have to remove the grips to find the serial numbers engraved on the grip frame.

Not a lot of serial number data out there for these revolvers. There were made as a "lower price" arm by the Iver Johnson Company from ABOUT 1910 to ABOUT 1940.

I can say that these revolvers were made from 1911-1935.I do not believe that the serial numbers are available in the public domain.The value of these revolvers is between 50-100 dollars,for a firearm having between 60%-90% of its original finish remaining,and a good bore.
