could be 2 common things. Either you are using applications or games that require a certain resolution, or the graphics card is overheating or absolete meaning (OLD TECH). Does not mean its phisicly old but just not todays graphics card. If you change the graphics card and its still doing it then its either an aplication or game, or check for looseness in PCI or PCI-E slots. If all is fine and it still happends check moniter, cables, and last reinstall vista or upgrade to 7.
Answering "Why does your computer keep changing the screen resolution in vista?"
For XP: You can try changing the resolution of your screen. While on your desktop, right-click and select 'Properties'. Click the 'Settings' tab, and change the resolution using the bar you see in the window. Vista: Right-click on desktop, select 'Personalize'. Click 'Display Settings' and then change resolution in the window that pops up.
This was a problem with Windows Vista, but as far as I know it was fixed. It will be the resolution your computer is running the Game as. You may have to go into your Combat Arms settings and change it to a more perportional resolution for your computer screen.
No. Windows XP supports dual-core processors as well, although arguably not as efficiently as Vista.
On my '87 Vista, the computer is under the driver's seat.
(microsoft vista) You press start then press control panel. Then you select appearance and personilization. Then you press adjust screen resolution, and viola!
It is possible to set the computer up so that it logins automatically by changing the settings that are in the control panel. Do not do this if security is a risk.
yes
start>computer(right side in the middle)
You cannot run Vista (or an other operating system) on a computer that has no processor.
There really is no benefit in using or having Windows Vista on your personal or business computer.
It is just called Computer in Vista and it is located on the right side of the Start Menu under Recent Items.
