Concorde was a supersonic passenger aircraft which did not prove to be successful. It met with many accidents. The runway was not enough for it to land. So it smashed into buildings. In 2003 when it landed it caught fire. After that Concorde was never used. It is being displayed in museums in many countries.

The main trigger was the crash of a Concorde in 2000; all the passengers and crew died. For some years, Concorde had been flying at a loss (even after writing off the huge development costs). After the crash, all Concordes were grounded and airlines took the commercial decision to discontinue the service.
