First action disconnects you and cleans up your IP addresses, second renews them.
I think only works if IP address is set on automatic.
to see if you're now connected you can ping something, simply type "ping Google", press enter, and see if you get any result. If you still have package loss then something else is the problem.

Solution: 1 : Contact your ISP it could be a DNS problem if both browsers do not work. if you face still problem then follow next steps. 2: Reset internet explorer and register all .dll files. 3: disable all startup items from startup tab. also delete from registry. 4: scan with spyware removal and trojon removal tool. 5: Restart computer and check it.

∙ 14y agoMost likely the router can't get an IP address form ISP, you need to check the manual how to properly configure your router for your particular internet connection. Also if you have connection through wire but not wireless, check setting for your wireless connection using router interface. It might have to be changed.
