The 2009/2010 "Keep On The Watch" District Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses will be held for it's final week Friday July 3-Sunday July 5, 2009 at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC. The dates and locations for the 2010/2011 convention have not yet been announced, and likely will not be announced until the beginning of 2010.

No. The only thing we celebrate is the memorial of Jesus Christ's death which is held in March/April depending on daylight savings, as that has an impact on when we observe it. But perhaps, there was a convention or assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses going on in your area.
