When driving my 06 ford explorer the engine make a loud fan blowing noise?

The cooling fan is coming on cooling the engine. Very normal.

Why does the engine temperature rise when the car idles?

Engine temperature rising when the engine is idling is normal. The car is sitting still and no air is entering the engine compartment. This will cause the engine temperature to rise. The cooling fans then come on and the engine returns to a normal temperature. Unless the cooling fans do not bring the temperature down, you have no problems and this is totally normal.

My temp gauge won't go past the beginning of the normal mark I have replaced sensors and thermostat.?

Your cooling fans may be coming on or you might have a low temp thermostat. Either way, a cool engine is better than a hot engine.

Is it normal for the engine cooling fan to run after the engine is shut down new fuel pump and radiator installed?

Yes it is normal if you have an electric fan. The fan will run until the engine temp lowers to normal.

Why does the cooling fan stay on when the engine is off on your 1995 Volkswagen Jetta?

When operating properly, the cooling fan stays on until the temperature drops to normal.

Why would your 1998 new beetle while turned off hours after driving have a fan sound coming on and off?

Your coolant temperature sensor could be malfunctioning and signaling the fans cool the engine. It is normal, especially, in hot whether for the cooling fans to come on randomly as the engine cools, but if the engine is already cold then there is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Your coolant level keeps running low you have to top it up weekly is that normal?

No , that's not normal You either have an external leak or an internal leak in the engine cooling system

What is the normal engine temperature for a Volkswagen Passat wagon?

the normal running engine temperature on the passat is 195 degrees , most of the time the primary cooling fan gives out and they run somewhat warmer than that.a belt connects the primary and secondary cooling fans ! you may check the belt if your passat is running warm.

What causes the temperature to go up when idling and down when moving on a 1994 Ford Explorer 4.0?

As long as the engine temperature doesn't move into the extremely hot range, then this is just normal operation for the engine's cooling system. When an engine is running at idle speed with the vehicle stopped, there is no air flow coming through the grill to assist in cooling the radiator. Only the engine's fan system is doing any of the cooling at idle speed. For this reason, the engine temperature will increase somewhat at idle in a non-moving vehicle. Once you start moving, even though the engine RPMs increase causing more heat, the air flow forced through the vehicle's front grill and through the radiator cooling fins compensates for the added heat and decreases the engine temperature. Note however, if the temperature is moving into the extreme hot area on the dash gage when the vehicle is idling and not moving, there may be issues with the engine's cooling system.

1997 Saturn cooling fan comes on only when you turn AC on any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

the engine temperature has to get to 225 degrees Fahrenheit to turn on. If the engine is reaching 230 degrees and it is not turning on the sensor for the engine cooling fan is most likely the culprit. As for the fan operation of the fan with the a/c that is normal

What is the electric engine soft sound behind the drivers side under the hood its like a small engine trying to turn on but not enough power but the the engine and everything else is off?

It is the cooling fan for the engine. Even if you shut the engine off, the cooling fan will continue to run until the engine heat gets back down to a normal level. The fan can turn on at anytime. Watch your fingers.
