It depends on the vehicle. The recirculation valve for my chev 350 is a little over $80.00, depending on where you buy it.
Some vehicles... well over $300.
Some are easy to change, like mine, just two bolts and it's out, it seems almost criminal to charge someone for the labor since it takes less than two minutes. Some require a major effort.
You don't fix holes in the exhaust system of an automobile. You replace damaged parts with new. The possibility of leaking deadly exhaust gas from a repaired hole to the inside of the car is all too real.
