Yes, it is possible that President Obama, like any other President or high ranking leader, could be harmed while in office. My sincere hope is that he serves out both of his terms and all people learn to love each other and not desire to do harm to anyone.
President Obama is the leader of the Free World, husband, father, and friend to many. There is no rational reason for anyone to want to harm him.
He needs time to show the World what love looks like from the Oval Office.
However, it would not be easy to do, his Secret Service agents will do all, include giving their own lives to protect the President from assassination attempts. His plans for each day and the routes he takes to and from the White House are carefully coordinated and prepared for his safety.
