Yes, but it would had been a much longer war and the Soviet Union could have usurped much more of Europe. It would turn into a war of resourceful insurance; Germany had limited resources and it was spending all of it on Russia and all attempts to gain more resources had been foiled at El Alamein and in the Caucasus.

No. When Nazi Germany tried to invade Britain, they lost a major air battle, causing the invasion to fail. But since they had taken over so much of Europe, resources weren't a problem. Germany would've tried again and again to conquer the British, and eventually, they would've succeeded.

How did money play a part in the british defeat at the end of the war?

What war? At the end of the second World War, though Britain and her allies eventually won the war against Germany and Japan, Britain was almost bankrupt. When Britain was hanging on by her finger tips, America (mainly due Japan's attack on Pearl Harbour) came to our rescue. America's might, prosperity and productively proved vital . Neither Germany nor Japan could compete, and so the inevitable outcome was the defeat of Germany and Japan by the Britain, America, and our allies..

What types of threats did Germany pose America during world war 1?

Germany posed no direct threat to America early on in World War I, until America came to the aid (with men and equipment) of Britain and the Allies fighting against Germany on European soil. Both in the first and second world wars with Germany, the industrial might, and the manpower the Americans could bring to bear, directly helped bring about the defeat of Germany in the West and saved Britain and Allies from defeat - with Russia fighting towards Berlin as (at that time) an Ally.
