Odds are, no. It's most likely the motor, or a blown/grounded wire in the system. If you hear a "click" when you try to raise/lower the window, power's getting there but the motor might be fried. Also, if it was grinding prior to quitting, the bolts might have come loose (especially if the vehicle is old. Constant vibration will sometimes cause bolts to loosen on their own). Pull the panel and see what's going on in there.
