Best Answer

There would first have to be an atmosphere and water. The surface of the moon is subject to radiation given off by the sun and has no legitimate atmosphere to protect it from the heat of the sun. So no.

Why do craters last longer on the moon than on the earth?

because the moon has no atmosphere which means no wind, rain, snow, or weather could get rid of it. also think of why footprints of Neil Armstrong are still on the moon? oh by the way the craters are called a mare or maria's(plural)

Is there precipitation on the moon?

noPrecipitation such as rain and snow can not exist on the lunar surface because of the moon's lack of atmosphere however the word "precipitation" can also refer to meteors and asteroids hitting the moon and causing craters, so in that sense, there IS precipitation on the moon, just not in the form of rain or snow like on Earth.

How is snow dangerous?

Snow could be dangerous in a variety of ways: 1. You could be attacked by snow leopards when innocently walking around on a mountain. 2. You could be walking on that same mountain and all of a sudden an avalanche knocks you down and you get swept away and suffocate (or drown because technially snow is like water but in solid form) and die. 3. You could be harmlessly eating it and choke 4. You could be going to eat said snow and after putting it in your mouth realize it is yellow snow (ew). 5. You could fall face first into snow and die. moral of the story: don't play in snow alone. and don't eat yellow snow.
