If you mean can those born before christ be saved, then yes. This is what god promised them. Many wonder:how can someone before Jesus be saved if they never heard of them? Jesus has always existed. and he came down to earth to save All Men. it is a free gift, but you must have faith. Bottom line, all of the children of Adam and Eve will have or had a chance to be saved.[or was saved].
There is no verse in Hebrews 1 that could bring into question that Jesus is not God. On the contrary the chapter puts forth Jesus very well as God.
Paul explained this to the Hebrew Christians in Hebrews 9 & 10 And John the Baptist, at Jesus' baptism, announced him as the "Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world." Before Jesus' advent, the shedding of the blood of bulls and goats endeavoured to take sins away; but this was not possible, (Hebrews 10.4); but now we are: "sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all]." (Hebrews 10.10)
Yes. Some Hebrews (a small minority) do.
No. The Hebrews worship only God. It is forbidden for the Hebrews to worship men or engage in Human sacrifice.
I think it does.ANSWER: Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."You can always count on Jesus Christ as He never changes!
A:In the Book of Hebrews, Jesus is presented as the high priest in heaven, greater than the high priests on earth. He is better than the angels, who are commanded to worship him. Jesus is the second Moses, but superior to him. Finally, Jesus is the son of God. He is not equal to God, but God has made Jesus his heir. It is not entirely clear in this book whether Jesus has lived on earth as a physical man, but either view could be argued. Certainly there are apparent references to his crucifixion, but the ancients could believe in a crucifixion in heaven.
Jesus was Jewish, since his father, God's, people were the Hebrews, or Jews.
The Bible gives us this answer. Jeshua (Jesus in English) came to: Destroy the devil and his works (1 John 3:8) Die to take away the sins of the many (Hebrews 9:8) Set (men) free from the sins of the old covenant (Hebrews 9:15) Reconcile mankind back to God (2 Cor. 5:19)
They might have been hebrews
Jesus Christ IS THE SAME yesterday and today and forever, (Hebrews 13.8)
No you cannot touch jesus, but Jesus can touch you if his is in the mood...if you know what I mean(; have fun touching jesus....(;
AnswerWe can not be certain that anyone invented Jesus Christ.If anyone invented Jesus of Nazareth, it would have been the author of Mark's Gospel, which appears to have been written in 70 CE. At least we know that the other New Testament gospels were based, directly or indirectly, on Mark, and that those authors knew nothing of the life and mission of Jesus apart from what they read in Mark.Even if Mark invented Jesus of Nazareth, Hebrews seems to predate the Gospel of Mark and yet it refers to Jesus. But Hebrews refers to Jesus as a High Priest in heaven, not as a human who lived on earth in the recent past. Arguably, the Jesus of Hebrews was not the Jesus of Nazareth whom Mark describes.Wa also know that Paul taught of Jesus Christ at least two decades before the Gospel of Mark. Once again, it seems that Paul may have been speaking of a more spiritual Jesus than the gospel Jesus. And he knew nothing of the life of Jesus of Nazareth, as Mark describes after the death of Paul.So, if anyone invented Jesus of Nazareth it was the evangelist now known as Mark. But he did not invent the Jesus of Paul's epistles, nor the Jesus of Hebrews. The origin of this Jesus remains a mystery.
