They chose Robert Fitz Walter to be their leader.then, they put their army together to occupy London.king john couldnt raised his army without the support of his barons..so,he had no choice but to signed the charter .in return, the barons agreed to be loyal to him
they could hit the bong

because the land was dived to the barons
The barons are the closest people to King William they look after his land.
he used the feudal system (king above barons, above knights above freemen and slaves) which meant he only needed to control the barons (who were loyal to him) who would in turn would take care of the knights, etc.
King John infringed the rights of the Barons by giving them little freedom and lack of safety from their own knights. If thought guilty a person was put in jail, with no trial ( justice). The barons also had no protection of property and knights could take what they pleased. These are just some of the ways that King John infringed on the rights of the Barons.
They could be separated. The Barons sent to algeria, while King John is being sent to Azerbaijan:)

they did
Barons leased land from the King which was known as a manor. They were known as the Lord of the Manor and were in complete control of this land. They established their own system of justice, minted their own money and set their own taxes. In return for the land they had been given by the King, the Barons had to serve on the royal council, pay rent and provide the King with Knights for military service when he demanded it. They also had to provide lodging and food for the King and his court when they traveled around the country. The Barons kept as much of their land as they wished for their own use, then divided the rest among their Knights. Barons were very rich.
Originally, in olden days, a king could rule with barons, who ruled the more day to day problems of their times. They could go to war, negotiate peace, or execute someone in a barons court.
