Yes. Heat will evaporate the water but not the mud particles (sand, dirt etc.).
If you collect the condensed water vapour you get very clean water. A good (and cheap) way to do it is by building a solar still. Solar stills only use the heat from the sun. The vapour will condense on the surface of a piece of plastic (or a piece of glass) so the drops of condensed water can be collected. I've built several of these and they work like a charm.
The simplest way is to let the muddy water stand until the sediment settles, then decant the clear water at the top.
The fastest way is to pass the muddy water through a filter which will hold the sediment, the clear water will run out the bottom of the filter.
You can distill clean water from muddy water by filtering the water and then boiling it. The evaporated water is pure and can then be collected.
You have to filter the water first. Than you can drink it. Or you can use a sock with wood charcoal.
Salt is prepared by evaporation of water.
That's "fractional distillation" or in the world of oil, "fracking."
With the help of distillation process.
the process of separating several mixtures of coal with the process of fractional distillation
Distillation is a physical process.
Evaporation & Condensation process involve in distillation.
This process is called fractional distillation and various substances are separated in differed temperatures.
how distillation helps make whisky
Ethanol can be separated from rum through a process called distillation. In distillation, the mixture is heated to convert the ethanol into a vapor. The vapor is then cooled and condensed back into a liquid form, separating it from the other components of rum. This process takes advantage of the difference in boiling points between ethanol and the other components, allowing for their separation.

distillation of crude oil is a continuous process.
The steps that involve distillation are: - - Evaporation - Collection
