Yes, but there are several dozen other problems that are more likely
Does your transmission seem to shift at weird times as well? Could possibly be the throttle position sensor. Good Luck! transmission also pull-off in second gear
Several things could cause this. When you say "kick back hard", does it feel likeit is coming from the transmission, or maybe from the engine, or someplace else? This is alot of times caused by a solonoid in the transmission. If it isfrom the engine, it could be a number of things. Sometimes the TPS Throttle Position Sensor, a bad coil or even Crankshaft Position Sensor. There is more, but you could start with these and see what happens. I hope this helps you.
It's most likely the crankshaft position sensor.Answerthis sensor could be one of several sensors there are sensors for , the reverse light switch. gear selctor. speed sensors. selector actuator sensor. safety sensor for starting. also sensors for computer to tell what gear to select It is the crankshaft position sensor!
no u could not
Possibly caused by a bad Crank Position Sensor. Could also be the cam position sensor or the coil. They all work together.
trying to replace crank position sensor but i have no ideal where to look it is 1993 infinity G20 could you help me find this sensor
Depending on the vehicle, a faulty VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) could affect the automatic transmission shift points.
trottle control module
Its possible that it is the TPS sensor (throttle position sensor)easy to replace yourself and available at your local parts store. It could also be a transmission issue, change the fluid and filter, but start with the TPS sensor its a common problem and cheaper solution
Could be your speed sensor on your transmission
The camshaft position sensor is most likely located on the cylinder head of the engine. The location could vary depending on the manufacturer.
A malfunction in the range sensor could cause the cruise to be inoperative.A malfunction in the range sensor could cause the cruise to be inoperative.
