No. There is no such thing as omens. Over thousands of years, science has never proven the existence of such things, because you can't prove the existence of things that don't exist.


There are other, more rational, explanations.
It could be a sound from the game you were playing on your phone.

Your house might have a rodent problem and two rodents were fighting behind the wall or under the floor. Cats aren't the only animals that hiss.

You might have burst water pipe or central heating pipe in your house which is noisily spraying water or steam occasionally.

You might have tinnitus, a condition where people hear sounds that are not there.

It might have been a very loud sound a few miles away from your house, like a fast train grinding to an emergency stop, which by the time it reached you, sounded like hissing due to the degradation of the sound over distance.

It might have been a natural phenomenon which occurs in some parts of the world where acoustic gravity waves above our atmosphere causes a loud humming or trumpeting sound.
