YOu may still have alot of Beta-HCG hormone in your blood from the D&C... you will for at least 6 weeks...symptoms can be emotional. I don't mean to be rude, but I suggest that if you had an abortion this could be a psychological reaction to it. Wanted or not, there may be confusion, hormones raging... I know... been there. Just ask doc for repeat blood test to see if Beta-HCG is rising after about 4 days from previous test... yes, there is a possibilty of pregnancy right after a D&C, your cervix is more open. GET IT CHECKED OUT and I wish you the best either way... healing takes time.
This is a separate answer. If you wanted to have a DNC and chose to have it simply because you didn't want the child and now think you are pregnant again, perhaps when you go to the doctor to have your blood levels checked you should consider also asking about Birth Control.
if you had sex again you could be prego but she is right about the levels growing or decreasing. You should be very carefull but the confusion part is lame you just need to let yourself heal and use any type of birth control it would keep you from playing the am I game

No, she will not be able to feel it for several weeks. I couldn't tell that I was pregnant until after my period was missed. I thought it was just late until week or so later, I actually started to feel the symptoms. That is when I went to the doctor and was confirmed positive (had to be done through blood work, because all urine tests, and test kits came back negative)
