The best thing to do is to ask the website. I mean on one hand you could look up the serial number. You can compare it side by side with another Fender stratocaster. But unless you took it apart and saw say American hardware , Fender branded guitar tuners and so forth on the headstock.
watch out for tradetang Guitars they make almost mirror like replicas , except the fretting may be horribly done , the electronics will be all cheap. The woods will be nowhere near as mahogany , the guitar may not even be able to intonate.
Maybe you should bring it to a guitar shop and see what they think as they deal with them all day.
Yes, it is real. A fan made a Guitar Hero for Skillet and gave it to John Cooper as a gift. However, a Guitar Hero Skillet has not been released to the public.
David Gilmour with an footnote. There is alot of speculation on his #0001 stratocaster. the website http://www.gilmourish.com has tons of information about it, including some notes about how it may or may not be the 1st ever made. The hardware is gold and the color is unusual for the time, so those are signs that it was made for a special occasion, or as a custom job. But custom for who? This is where it might actually be #1. It could be custom for Leo Fender, made that way as a test or prototype for himself, or it could be for..well anything. There is also a piece on that page of how one of Gilmour's guitar techs bough the guitar from Seymour Duncan for the small price of $900 in the mid 70's. Leo Fender originally gave (or sold) the guitar to Seymour Duncan. Read that part carefully, it discusses weird topics that say Gilmour's guitar is a "Frankenstein" instead of the real #0001, since it has custom wound pickups from Seymour Duncan, and a '57 neck with cigarette burns on it..which Gilmour's guitar does indeed have. I'm sure the only people that really know are/were Leo Fender and his wife, David Gilmour himself, who is a quiet person and may not tell just to keep the mystery up, and the guitar techs that handled it. And its value? Guitar Tech and then owner Phil Taylor sold the guitar to Gilmour for the money to buy a house in 1977. Now that its 50+ years old and Leo Fender has passed, it might be in the "priceless" category. Interestingly enough, David still plays the #0001, and played it of course at the 50 year anniversary of the strat, and he has been known to use it during practice and recording sessions. There is also a nice page on that website about his black strat, which is almost as famous, if not more, than #0001.
A resonator guitar is primarily associated with the blues - although does find its way into many other Americana' styles such as folk, bluegrass, etc. It was originally designed in a time before amplification - so the player needed to have the sound project louder and sharper than a standard acoustic guitar. They have a neat sound and sound great with a slide. You can get a cheap one (Fender) for about $250 I think. Real Dobros and Nationals can get rather pricey.
You could, but they are pretty cheap. They are plastic, so a different sound may come out.
Well I guess it depends, the actual 6 string guitar we all know and love today? Or the just general Idea of the guitar, because guitar-like Intstruments have been around for about 5,000 Years. So long story short, there is no real answer to who really "invented" it. So this answer is kind of pointless really lol. I personally think that Les Paul has been around since before Jesus and he invented it.
Assuming you mean Guitar Hero III ...The "guitar" used for the game is a special controller shaped like a guitar. You cannot replace it with an actual guitar. The controller is much simpler to operate than a real guitar is.
A guitar similar to the Stratocaster was introduced in '54. The real Strat that we are all familiar with was introduced in '56
Yes definently, when i started out guitaring i had a fender squier and i thought it was brilliant to be honest. Even though its a cheaper more affordable version of a real fender i think its a great starting guitar i have a fender jaguar now and i remembered selling my squier i felt pretty sad haha but i would definently recommend it to beginners it is a cheap price for a good guitar
okay, for example, there is the Fender Stratocaster, this is a very common and popular guitar. Guitar companies who make beginners make whats called a "strat immatation" this is a guitar which looks pretty much identical to the real thing, but is a knock-off
NO! I am assuming you are using a REAL guitar. Real guitars do NOT work on Rock Band 3, or any video game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero. You HAVE to use one made specially for Rock Band.
No, it is a real guitar.
REAL DIFFERENCE IS PRICE AND QUALITY
no lool
Yes he is real and most REAL guitar players know him for different songs including "Sweet child of mine" he was the lead guitar of Guns and Roses.
well it can help in finger coordination there is more to playing a real guitar then pressing a few buttons. Even so , finger coordination is a small part, in all honesty playing real guitar is more rewarding , and after all guitar hero is a game! Yes it does, but do you know how to play the real guitar?
I would assume (because there are so little notes to hit on Guitar Hero) that real guitar would be much harder.
nope.... i wouldn't think so as i can play songs easily on guitar hero that i wouldn't even know the first note of on a real guitar
