Why would you want braces?
by brushing your teeth really hard or braces or possibly a retanor
as long as you don't eat anything hard, then yes! watch that you don't eat anything which could stain your teeth too
As long as you brush your teeth while you have your braces, there will be no marks. I had no marks on my teeth when my braces were removed. Another student in my school, however, never brushed her teeth and when her braces were removed she actually had brown bands on her teeth. ~ T
Rather than removing teeth, my children were fitted with retainers that changed the shape of their upper palate to fit their teeth. We cranked the retainer a quarter turn every week for almost a year. This allowed the second row of teeth to realign and for others to come down as they should. At the end of that time, they could have had a short time with braces, but we decided that things looked great. that 'retainer' placed on the upper hard palate is actually called an expander. it literally breaks you maxilla bone, leaving room for more teeth and making it easier for braces.
You'd have to pay, and I wouldn't recommend it, they can be painful and require much more cleaning, they also end up making your teeth dirtier even when you clean them. It would be hard to find a dentist that would fit the braces for you.
When u have braces it is verry important to floss. Also you must brush your teeth around 4 times a day and u brush for 3 to 4 mins . It is hard to keep your braces clean so do what i say . ALSO IT CAN HURT SO TSKE CAR OF YOUR TEETTTTHHHH
if you have white braces it can stain it. also it can stain your teeth, leaving white marks when you get your braces off.
There is lots of advice one should know about when getting braces. Perhaps the best place to find out what one should know is by talking to one's dentist. Some general advice with braces is to avoid any food that is sticky, chewy, or hard. One should expect sore teeth for several days after getting braces and having teeth loosen while wearing the braces is normal and expected and they should regain their rigidity again later.
Yes you can, when I had braces, I could eat whatever I wanted. But be very careful. I sometimes also eat chewy candy, but my braces never broke. I also ate corn on the cob without taking them out and apples without slicing them. It felt like I had no braces but be very careful! Good Luck!!
No, when you get braces on, the orthodontist is simply applying apparatus to the outside of your teeth, so there is no pain. After a few hours of getting your braces on, you may feel some discomfort as the braces begin to move your teeth.
Hey everyone, Coping with braces is hard at first - having people laugh at school, funny sounding speech, lots of saliva, aching jaws and such. You may HATE them at the beginning, and coming from someone who's got braces, I know how you feel. I have functional braces, the type that you take out for eating and some sports. I hate them, but you've got to keep on and just forget about what people say about them, just think of the future, when you have perfect teeth! I guarantee your classmate's teeth will be worse than yours, so when they have braces and you have beautiful teeth, it's your turn to laugh. Carry on, determination is all you need...
ICE,GUM,CANDY,and, about all chewy or hard foods. don't ask of braces, that's different.
