Yes, absolutely because DDR rated for higher frequencies are also backward compatible. Just pay attention to the DDR generation because you DDR-I is not compatible with DDR-II.
Yes; but the speed of the memory as a system will fall down to the lowest type (266).
The DDR 333 model can be purchased through Amazon. DDR 333 is a type of memory used for computers. DDR is an acronym for 'double data rate'. The number specifies the memory speed.
no you can not use 400 MHZ ram because (PC2100 @ 266 MHZ ddr) and (PC2700 @ 333 MHZ ddr) are the only chips that are inter changable. PC3200 is 400 MHZ but it has 2 slots not just the one. It does not fit into the same type slot as either PC2700 or PC2100. I was looking at the possibility of a PC2700 ram rated at 400 MHZ but I do not think there is such a thing.
333 Mhz
DDR-333
Unfortunately not. Rambus memory, is a totally different configuration compared to DDR Ram. The FSB is different, usually rambus uses 600 / 800mhz. DDR uses 200 / 266 / 333 and 400mhz. The actual memory stick is also different, in that it has 2 slots in the centre of the stick, compared to one slot in ddr. hope this helps be safe cadishead computers
333 MHz
A DDR 266 desktop memory is available, for a low price online, at Newegg. Amazon also sells this item for a low price. Sale-Fire is another online seller with a good price for this amount of memory.
Im afraid this is not possible. This motherboard takes DDR and / or SD ram, not DDR2.Both SD and DDR can not be used at the same time. IMHO DDR would be the better choice.Max allowed would be 2Gb (ddr 266 or ddr 200 buffered)Max allowed is 1Gb, unbuffered.Hope this helpsBe safe
No special adavantage in using 256 with 512.It will give the performance of only 512.use the same size
If one wishes to purchase cheap DDR 333 memory the best options for a good price are sites such as Amazon or eBay. One can also find this type of memory on sites such as Tiger Direct or Best Buy where one might find a sale price.
I have this motherboard with 1GB RAM but it is DDR. If a Motherboard supports DDR it cant support DDR2.
DDR Corp. (DDR)had its IPO in 1993.
