Not a chance; even with a sharp knife, the tendons are a challenge.
There is a nut under the plastic cover at the base of the arm.
She wanted information from her. She only cut her arm in the film.
Uncommon, but yes.

sometimes they are made of hard plastic
A knife edge bearing is used to provide a low friction pivot point for a slow moving, low loaded rocking arm; for example a balance beam as in the old-fashioned shop weighing scales. The rocking arm is supported at its pivot point by a cross bar. The two ends of the cross bar are machined such that a line across their bottom edge becomes a knife edge, with the two faces of the knife blade forming an angle of about 60 deg. This knife edge pivots on two supporting pillars, one each side of the arm, which carry the weight of the arm and any applied loading. Very simple and reliable, the only problem being with wear of the knife blade over time, especially with heavier loads or fast repeated movement.
you feel static electricity
Remove plastic cap. Remove nut. Pry up wiper arm.....
In most cases, wether visible or not, there is a NUT holding the wiper arm in place. It may be concealed by a plastic cap and the very end of the arm.
To reach the butter across the table, you can either stand up and walk over to it or simply stretch your arm out if it's within reach. If it's too far, consider asking someone nearby to pass it to you. Alternatively, you could use a long utensil or grabber if available.
Its actually really easy. First pull out the arm. Then, You just have to pry off the back cover. I wore gloves and used a knife to separate it from the watch. Once you get that off remover the little plastic ring. Also there is a little metal arm holdin the battery in place. Softly slide it out of the way and battery will come right out. Its a little tricky to get the battery back in but isn't a big deal. Then just replace plastic and press the back cover back on. Then set time and push arm back in.
