Nucleic acids.
Dna = Deoxyribonucleic Acid
Rna = Ribonucleic Acid
DNA and RNA are both examples of genetic material. All living organisms from viruses and bacteria to humans either have one or the other.
nucleic acids
nucleic acids
Nucleic Acids.
They are both nucleic acids.
nucleic acids.
Nucleic acids
1. The sugar in DNA is deoxyribose and the sugar in RNA is ribose. 2. DNA is a double strand and RNA is single strand. 3. DNA is in the nucleus and RNA travels around from nucleus to cytoplasm. or 1. RNA is generally single stranded 2. RNA contains Uracil in place of Thymine 3. The sugar in RNA is Ribose instead of Deoxribose
1. RNA have the base uracil whereas DNA have the base thymine. 2. RNA contain ribose sugar residues whereas DNA contain deoxyribose sugar residues. 3. RNA are single-stranded whereas DNA are double-stranded.
The enzyme that transcribes the DNA into RNA is called RNA polymerase.
RNA can move and DNA cant. DNA has a double helix strand and RNA is a single strand.
DNA and RNA
Nucleic acids
DNA or RNA (and for smaller polymers; di and trinucleotide)
What are two examples of nucleic acids?RNA and DNA (ribo- and deoxyribonucleic acid)Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and Ribonucleic acid (RNA) are examples of nucleic acids.
Nucleotides combine to form nucleic acids ,namely, RNA and DNA.
dna has adenine, thymine guanine, and cytosine as its bases. dna is double stranded. dna is made of deoxyribose. in dna H attatches to its 2'. in rna uracil replaces thymine. rna is single stranded. rna is made of ribose. in rna OH attaches to its 2'.

DNA and RNA
Nucleic acids
DNA contains 2' [2 prime] deoxyribose sugar while Rna contains ribose sugar.
DNA is one example of Nucleic acids and RNA is another one. The difference between the two is that DNA forms a double helix structure whereas RNA only has one strand and no helix structure. Also DNA contains the nitrogenous bases adenine and guanine which are the purines and cytosine and thymine which are the pryimidines. RNA on the other hand has uracil instead of thymine and RNA is only used in protein sythesis. DNA is also used for replication for duplicating cells and such.
DNA and RNA are examples of the organic compound called nucleic acids. Other organic compounds include carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.
