That would depend on the job you're assigned to and your rating. For example;

In a Sector office, it's much like a regular 0730-1600 job, maybe with duty twice a month.

On a Cutter (ship) your day can be very exciting (if you allow it). For example

0600 wake up and get ready for another day underway (at sea)

0700 eat breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee on the fantail (rear of ship).

0730 start work in the ships office

1130 Lunch

1200 some sort of drill (practices based on shipboard fire, flooding, attack etc...)

1300 Debrief, so we can do better next time.

1330 back to work

1600 close shop

1700 dinner

1800 hang out, laundry, watch TV, play games, read, exercise etc..

2200 all hands accountability and get ready for bed. (unless you have a four hour watch (on the bridge).
