i think that dallys parents dont iven care for him and why should they even care about his influcence and his personality
Do you think Dally's parents have influenced the way he is? outsiders chapters 6 and 7
Well yes, I think they were actually the main influence for Dallas' cold attitue. I mean just think, if Dallas had loving/caring parents would he turned out like he did? No. In my opinion, Dallas began "living in the streets" because he was trying to get away, he doesn't act nice or want to get attached to anyone because he doesn't want to get hurt again. He turned tough and scared some people, like I said now no one could hurt him emotionally and physically. If Dallas had the kind of support and care that Ponyboy had, then he would of probably had turned out more like one of the Curtis boys and wouldn't have ended up dead.
yes, Dally doesnt like rules, he tries to break them any way he can.
The way your parents eat, the things you like, the food you buy and the way you cook your food.
A lot of people are influenced by the people around them. So the way that your family acts influences you and the way that you act in certain situations. This is very true for children.
Johnny loved Dally in a way that Johnny had never been loved before. He wanted Dally to know that just because they were greasers, they were people, too.
When your parents say to you that you have no personality it's normal to feel quite upset and insulted by it. It most likely means that they feel let down by you in some way. Perhaps you have said or done something which they deemed was not the way in which you were reared, so it is natural that they would be disappointed.
It depends on the person. Russian individuals are not all alike. You aren't of the same personality knit as your neighbor, teacher, boss, parents, or anyone else, are you? That's how it is for them. They're people, too!!! Each person's personality is different in some way compared to every other persons' personality.
Hot and dry
Did you even read the book?! Jk! Yeah, they are the same person, Dally is just a shorter way of saying Dallas, so is Dal.
Johnny compares Dally to the gallant southern gentlemen in Gone With the Wind because Pony makes it clear that Johnny worships the ground Dally walks on.He in a non-homo way LOVES Dally. Dally is his idol. So when the book describes the gallant (brave, heroic) men, Johnny uses Dallas as an example, because that is how he sees him.
Dally taught Ponyboy that you need to look out for only yourself so that nothing can touch you. He tells him this on the way to seeing Johnny because he is really upset.
