Who died in the outsider with johnny cade?

nobody died WITH johnny cade, although ponyboy and dally got burned pretty bad. At the end though dally does die because after johnny dies in the hospital, dally takes it very hard because johnny was the only thing/person dally actually loved, so dally robbed a store and when the police came after him he used his fake gun to pretend to shoot at them so the police shot Dallas Winston dead on the ground.

Why does johnny like to fight in the outsider?

What is Dally's relationship with Johnny in The Outsiders?

johnny is like a younger version of dally and dally doesn't want johnny being like him so when johnny wants to turn himself into the cops then dally doesn't want him to because he said that jail toughens him up and he doesn't want johnny to toughen up because if he does he could make some of the same mistakes dally did when he was younger and grow up to be like dally. but dally doesn't want johnny to be like him when he grows up, dally is sort of a father figure for johnny and doesn't want johnny getting hurt. When the church was on fire, dally went to save johnny. Also he doesn't want Johnny to end up like him

How did dally react to johnny death?

Johnny's death was so difficult for Dally to handle because Johnny is Dally's pet. He is one of the only people that Dally cared for and now, Johnny is dead.
