check the fuse box for a blown fuse.
I have 1999 open the trunk find the hole and wires were the lights are turn the socket and pull the light out
The lights on the trunk are only back-up lights and nothing else.
ck bulbs first then ground circuit and power on trunk lights.Ground most likely
I have a 97 Cavalier,,,and one key does the door , ignition and trunk.
I think it's in the trunk on the right side, around where the tail lights are. Just remove the trunk floor and look to your right. It should be on the side.
Open trunk & pull away carpet from behind the lights.
If it is just the bulb that is burnt out just pop the trunk, on the inside of the trunk lid there are the lighting harness. Just turn it about a 1/2 turn to the left, pull it out, and replace bulb
No they aren't on the same circuit. The fuses are in the glove compartment under a panel on the left side...beside the trunk release if you have that option. When you hit the horn are the backup lights going on? or the lights turning the horn on? If so you have a bad ground wire.
(from inside the trunk) check the trunk key lock cylinder. there is an electrical circuit connected to it via a cable/spring mechanism. unplug the two-wire plug to check the operation of the interior lights.
Im, not 100% sure on this, but i believe u have to remove the plugs that hold the carpet in the trunk, and all the hardware should be right there.
Most likely.
roughly 5 teens fit in my trunk 2003 cav
