You NEED to employ a solicitor (attorney) to advise you on this one. ***If the house was left to the son then the house is his. Despite who owns the house there are many questions and options that need to be discussed with a neutral third party. The son paying rent isn't so much a legal questions but clearly he should be concerned about his rights if this information is being given to him by the husband. 1) Is the son a minor? Is he adopted by the husband? what is the relationship? 2) Is there still a mortgage on the home that wasn't paid off by credit life or life insurance when the mother died? 3) If a current mortgage is what the present husband is paying, rather than deeding him that portion of the home the son could sell the husband the house and the proceeds of the sale go into trust for the son. Good luck!

When my husband goes to see his daugheter he likes to by himself am i wrong to be upset i never met the daughter mother because she don't want to meet me do she still control my husband is he wrong?

What is your interest in meeting your husband's ex-wife and his daughter from a previous marriage? I can not imagine why those visits should be any concern of yours. Didn't you know at the time of the marriage to your husband that he had a daughter from a previous marriage? Sequential marriages present the problem of still being the father of your offsprings. And it is important for the absent parent to support and continue the relationship to those offsprings. Why would you be jealous? Wouldn't you want the same thing to happen to you? Can a divorced non-catholic man marry a catholic woman if his previous marriage was a civil ceremony performed at home without the declaration of nullity?

If the man was baptized Catholic, married in a civil ceremony and then divorced, yes, he can marry a Catholic woman in a Church ceremony in the presence of the priest or deacon with proper paper work completed. He could also marry again in a civil ceremony. You need to talk to a priest and apply for an annulment which is a ruling from the Church that no sacramental marriage is present from the civil marriage.
