A variable range of resistors built inside a box that can be varied as per our convenient. For example a set of kilo ohm resistors will be there,if u want 3 kilo ohm resistor then using the knob u can change the resistor value to your desired value. similarly there will be another set of resistors in mega ohm etc
A box of precision resistors where you can dial in the exact resistance you want with dials. Essentially a variable resistor with very precise, discrete, settings.
Resistance decade box is nothing but Resistance bank. It has various ranges of Resistance value ranging from few ohms to few mega ohms. In other terms, large value of resistance are fabricated in single box is said to be Resistance decade box.
The blower motor resistor is mounted in the heater box directly behind the dash glove box. Remove the contents of the glove box and push in on both sides of the glove box stops. The glove box door will fold down exposing the resistor. Remove the two screws holding the resistor in the heater box to remove the resistor.
same as decade resitance box but instead of reitances there wil be capacitances
It is behind the glove box. Remove the glove box door and there are 2 screws that hold the resistor in.
On the B250 van the blower resistor is located behind the passenger glove box, remove the glove box shell and resistor is located just to the right side, you can't miss it.
resistor for fan blower is in back of glove box, beside the blower itself.
Resistor is located behind glove box. Remove 2 screw at bottom of glove box which attach hinges. Glove box comes right out. The resistor will be directly behind glove box. It will have a plug and 2 screws which hold it in place. Remove plug unscrew and pull out. Install in reverse order.
If you are referring to the blower motor resistor, it is located behind the glove box and in the heater case.
underneath the glove box
It does not have a ballast resistor, those were used for ignition systems 30+ years ago. the heater resistor is located under the passenger sides dash (near the passengers feet). there is an access panel that you pull off. some have clips holding it on, some have screws. the blower resistor is located in the blower box. the resistor itself you will not be able to see, only the connector. usually there is about 5 wires on this connector and they are in a row. disconnect the connector, there is usually 1 or 2 screws that hold the resistor in the blower box. remove screws, remove resistor from the blower box. reverse procedure for reassembly. .
