DNA transcription: The process in which a RNA copy of the nucleotide sequence( one strand of DNA) is synthesised. This is catalysed by the enzyme RNA polymerase.
a) RNA polymerase binds to a specific DNA sequence called the promotor. It signals for RNA synthesis to begin.
b)Next the RNA polymerase unwinds a turn of the DNA helix. This single strand acts as a template for complementary base pairing with incoming ribonucleotide.
c)The RNA chain begins with joining of 2 incoming ribonucleotide triphosphate monomers.
The RNA polymerase then move along the DNA template strand, extending the growing RNA chain in the 5'-to-3' direction, adding 1 nucleotide at a time.
d)The enzyme continues and stop when it comes across another sequence ,the termination signal and then it releases both the DNA template and the newly formed RNA strand.
Translation
e)The enzyme aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases couple each amino acid to its appropriate tRNA molecule.
f) Each amino acid added carries with it the activation energy for the addition of the next amino acid rather than for its own addition.
g) The mRNA sequence is read three nucleotides at a time as the translation moves in the 5'-to-3' direction. Each amino acid is specified by this triplet(codon). This codon gives the specific amino acid to be added to the polypeptide chain.
h ) The process end and the protein chain is released when a stop codon is reached.
In the body, proteins are synthesized inside organelles known as ribosomes. The first step in protein synthesis is the transcription of mRNA from a gene of DNA. The second step is for protein synthesis to begin and the formation of a protein chain to take place. The third step is for the ribosome to terminate production of the protein, hydrolyze the ingredients that initiated protein production, and then release the protein from the ribosome.

There are 13 steps instead of 5... but i don't know them!
The two main steps in protein syntheis are transcriptionand translation. In transcription, the enzyme RNA Polymerase uses a DNA strand as a template to make a transcript of messenger RNA. This transcript is then translated into protein by the ribosome.
