Not exactly.
A confusing morass of interlocking companies were involved in the construction of Disneyland. Walt Disney Productions was owned only partially by Walt himself, and the other members of the board of directors weren't as enthusiastic about the park as Walt was. Walt formed a separate company owned by him personally (at first called Walt Disney, Incorporated and later renamed WED Enterprises). At first this was supposedly to handle television production, but the company wound up being used to design Disneyland and its attractions, and later supervised the actual construction. ABC was, however, very heavily involved, as they contributed a substantial share of the financing and in return received partial ownership of "Disneyland, Inc.", the company that was set up to manage the park for its first few years of operation (other owners of Disneyland, Inc. were Walt personally, Walt Disney Productions, and Western Publishing, with ABC and WDP holding about 1/3 of the company each and the remainder split between Walt and Western).

The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) was founded in 1943. It helped finance Disneyland in 1953, which allowed the network first bidding rights to the Disney show "Disneyland." Thus, although the two companies were separate, there was close cooperation between the two. In 1996, the Walt Disney Company bought ABC outright, and continues to own it to this day.
