Nowhere does The Bible say that Abraham worshipped only one deity, but it is clear that God was at least the most important one to Abraham. Abraham had Ishmael circumcised when he was thirteen as part of a covenant to inherit the land of the Canaanites, but the Bible never discusses Ishmael's personal beliefs.

Jewish Answer:

According to our tradition, Abraham founded the belief in One God. Our sources state that as a young child, he was indoctrinated into the prevalent polytheistic idolatry, and initially participated. So the short answer is "yes, at first." See also the attached Related Link.

Yes. Yahweh or more commonly 'YHWH' is one of many names used for God in the Old Testament. Its exact meaning, like its exact pronunciation, has been lost. It appears to be derived from the Hebrew root word meaning "to be." Perhaps the most understandable way to convey its meaning in English is "the Eternal." Abraham uses this term in Genesis 21:33 and it equates YHWH with "the Everlasting God."

Genesis 21:33New King James Version (NKJV)

33 Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.

There are many other names that reflect God's character or attributes found in the Scriptures, showing that they are all appropriate. Some names are God's titles of position and authority. He is called the Ancient of Days, Most High, Creator, Father, Lord, King, Redeemer and Savior, among many other names.
