Amelia Earhart
Probably Amelia Earhart.
Amelia Earhart disappeared on July 2,1937
No one really knows when Amelia Earhart died. She crashed her plane in the ocean, and so know one knows how long she actually lived. She disappeared on July 2, 1937 and was declared dead on January 5, 1939. Hope this helps!
Despite a few unproven conspiracy theories, most scholars do believe she really disappeared, and that she died when her plane crashed in the Pacific Ocean, as she tried to fly around the world in 1937.
Amelia Earhart got lost on her 1937 flight. She was said to be lost "at sea." Amelia Earhart was never found since. -VA
No one knows exactly why Amelia Earhart disappeared. What is knowns in that she was flying from New Guinea to Howland Island in the spring of 1937, but never landed at Howland. She radioed ahead saying that she was flying into a storm, and that she could not tell how big it was. She was never heard from again, and her plane never reached Howland. Many theories, including ones as simple as her plane simply ran out of gas and crashed, and ones as complex as Earhart having a double identity as an American spy who crashed on a Japanese island and was executed by the Japanese, have arisen since her disappearance.
Amelia disappeared in 1937, and she was almost 40 years old.
She disappeared on her round the world flight in 1937.
She disappeared in July 1937.
Probably not. Most historians believe she died when her plane crashed in the Pacific Ocean, while she was flying to Howland Island, as part of her effort to make a flight around the world in 1937. It is very unlikely she was able to get to Japan.
