It could definitely be argued that the US lost the Iraq War.
The War in Iraq had two major stages. The first stage of the Iraq War was to remove Saddam Hussein and create a democratic government in Baghdad. This stage of the war was achieved successfully. The second stage of the Iraq War was to assist the new Iraqi government in stamping out the numerous insurgencies throughout the country and set up the Iraqi Armed Forces and police to effectively control their country. This stage of the war was not only a failure (primarily due to a lack of commitment from the US and from sectarianism from Iraqi government leaders) but has deteriorated to such an extent that it has effectively undone significant parts of the first stage success.
Yes
America didnt really lose the war. It was never America's war to lose.
The only one I know is that they both fought America, well America was in the cold war and America fought Iraq.
they are still there!
Terrorists (criminals).
Not yet, but they are working on it.
Everything was peaceful in Iraq people living normal lives. No terrorism, no weapons. In America everything was fine too. The only war we were fighting was Afghanistan (2001). Then, America came in and attacked Iraq.
yes.
America's not at war with Iraq. America's trying to restore law, order, and stability in Iraq. America's longest war was against the American Indian (native Americans) from approximately 1620 (when the Pilgrims landed) until the Battle of Wounded Knee in 1890. America was at war with the country of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. From approximately 1955 until North Vietnam won the war in 1975.
