The Revoloutionary War is seen by Americans as a patriotic Victory for them,but is seen by the British as a draw and majority of the world as a draw.
Things to remember in the Revoloutionary War are....
America tried 5 times to remove the British form the U.S.A but failed. They then went away and started Americas first Army wich was trained and lead by British troops who had turned on there own country. Then America teamed up with France and Spain and the Dutch Republic to try remove the British.
At the same time as the Revoloutionary War Britain was also fighting 3 other wars against 3 big world powers, Napolean and the French Empire,Mongol Empire,Japanese Empire. At the time America was to young a country and had nothing for the British Empire to gain and the 3 other wars Britain were fighting had everything to gain and everything to lose. After years of fighting Britain was pushed by protest to sign the peace treaty and give America back its independance and move on to fight more important wars, Britain then surrenderd to America and signed the treaty, then moved straight on to fight those 3 other wars against Napolean and the French Empire,Mongol Empire and Japanese Empire,Britain won all 3 and the British Empire grew even bigger after the Revoloutionary War.
The French were crucial to the Americans and the French did the most work out of America,France and Spain and the Dutch Republic.
America also sufferd the biggest losses during the War.
