It isn't known whether this is true, but it is generally accepted by historians that it was a fiction invented in order to find her guilty of incest (among other offences, possibly also contrived) in order for King Henry VIII to legally have her executed in order to remarry. The French queen, Marie Antoinette, in the absence of other evidence against her, suffered similar prosecution; in her case it involved her young son. While we'll never know the truth of these allegations, the consensus is generally that they were politically motivated fictions designed to result in a queen losing her head.

Anne Boleyn had three brothers, Thomas, Henry and George. Both Thomas and Henry died in infancy. Only George survived to adulthood. Although we do not know for certain the birth dates of the Boleyn children, most historians place Anne's birth in 1501 and George's in 1504

George became Henry VIII pageboy when he was about eleven years of age and in December 1529 he was ennobled as George Boleyn, Viscount Rochford, having been knighted in October 1529. He was one of Henry's busiest diplomates and was also made Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports in June 1534. He is believed to have studied at Oxford university and he spoke fluent French, Latin and some Italian. In 1524/1525 he married Jane Parker, who was also member of a noble, wealthy and influential family.

In May1536 George was a victim of a royal coup d'état. He was condemned of incest with his sister, Queen Anne, to enable Henry to marry for a third time after Anne had failed to give him a son. The charges were trumped-up, but George died by axe on Tower Hill on 17th May 1536.
